This ancient watermill from the 17th century (part of the building dates back as far as the 14th century) is one of the best examples to be found in the Poitou region of South West France.
The watermill has retained its original layout on three floors with a very substantial surface area of 400m2 on each of them. The mill workers' quarter and storage rooms have not been touched since the last millers were at work. It is a totally authentic mill, with many character features such as a 2 metre water wheel and a unique history dating back centuries.
The principal house (residence) of 375m2 is in a good order and offers eight bedrooms. The property also includes a small gite, a large barn, a barn for animals and stables for horses.
